Eco-Products has long been the leader of sustainable disposables. Every product that Eco-Products makes falls into two categories: it’s either made of renewable resources like corn, sugarcane or plant starch or made from recycled content (like RPET, PCF or RPS). If you’re not familiar with compostable products—what are you waiting for? Compostable products are made from renewable plant materials that can be broken down in a commercial composting facility and can be returned to the soil to help plants grow. Pretty cool, right?
Who is the Growe Foundation?
The Growe Foundation is a local non-profit organization that works with Boulder Valley School District elementary schools. Through their outdoor “learning” gardens, students take turns in planting, harvesting and tasting the fresh produce of their labor! An integrated classroom curriculum builds upon outdoor activities with lessons in geology, ecology, economics and math. The Growe Foundation hops that through environmental stewardship we can tackle the childhood obesity epidemic one head of lettuce at a time.
At Tundra Restaurant Supply we often partner with Growe on many of their projects, donating our time and products (like salad spinners) to help further their great cause.
